Lampard: Bayern was stronger
14:14 26 February, 2020Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard admitted his side showed poor performance during the Champions League last 16 tie against Bayern Munich.
Bayern looked stronger, he said after 0-3 defeat, and added that it was a harsh lesson for his team.
It is thanks to this game that Bayern is fighting for the titles in Germany and Champions League.
“There's a lot to their team we have to respect. Today was a clear show there's a lot of work to be done. I've felt that all the way through since taking the job,” he said.
Bayern Munich and Chelsea will play the return leg on March 18.
