Michael Jordan could not hide tears duirng memorial service for Kobe Bryant
11:48 25 February, 2020Michael Jordan could not hide tears when delivering a speech during a memorial service at the Staples Centre for NBA star Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna, 13.
He said Kobe was “like his little brother.”
“When Kobe Bryant died, a piece of me died, and as I look at this arena and across the globe, a piece of you died, ” he said. “I promise you, from this day forward, I will live with the memories of knowing that I had a little brother that I tried to help in every way I could. Please rest in peace, little brother. ”
Beyonce and Alicia Keys performed during the ceremony.
