Serena Williams: And after having a child, moms became my heroes

Former world’s number one Serena Williams said being a mother is a very important role in her life.

“I really feel that being a mom is super important,” she told Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour.

“My heroes have changed. I always looked at different people. And after having a child, I was like, ‘My heroes are moms.’ Women are superheroes,” she added.

In 2017 Williams gave birth to her daughter Olympia with husband Alexis Ohanian.
