Benzema becomes Real Madrid record holder

Real Madrid’s French striker Karim Benzema, 32, became the club's all-time leading assist maker, surpassing his former teammate, Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo.

Benzema’s assist in Real’s Spanish LaLiga match against Osasuna was his 132nd for his club. Ronaldo, who currently plays for Juventus, had made 131 assists for Real Madrid.
