11:40   29 January, 2020

One of the Manchester United fan groups attacked the house of club’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

The club confirmed the incident, and police launched an investigation.

“Fans expressing opinion is one thing, criminal damage and intent to endanger life is another. There is simply no excuse for this,” the club said in a statement.

The club said that any fan found guilty of being involved would be banned for life.
