The BBC has apologised after footage of LeBron James was mistakenly included in its coverage of the death of Kobe Bryant.

"Kobe Bryant and LeBron James don't even look similar. If the BBC hired more black producers and editors, appalling mistakes like this simply would not happen," Tottenham MP David Lammy tweeted.

Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna, 13, have died in a helicopter crash. Bryant ended his career in 2016. He is a five-time NBA champion and a two-time Olympic winner.
