Russian Armenian figure skater wins silver medal of Euroepan Championships

Russia’s Arthur Danielyan, Armenian by origin, won silver medal of the European Figure Skating Championships in Graz.

It was Danielyan’s first performance for the men’s event of the championships. His teammate Russia’s Dmitry Aliyev won gold medal, Russia's first gold in men's competition after Evgeni Plushenko. Georgia’s Moris Kvitelashvili was the third.

Armenia’s Slavik Hayrapetyan ended 18th.
