Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola is not happy with a number of matches in England.

He offered to scrap one of the cup competitions so that the players do not get injuries too often, The Daily Mail reported.

“I’m not surprised [by recent injuries]. With that number of games, players break down. That is normal. Kane and Rashford are incredibly important players for England. The big administrators cannot complain because it’s normal that this happens,” he said.

Guardiola added that less games, less competitions will bring to more quality in football.

Manchester City will face Sheffield United in the next round of the Premier League.
