Serena Williams's first title in 3 years

Serena Williams won her first title in three years defeating Jessica Pegula at the Auckland Classic, BBC reported.

She beat her 6-3, 6-4 in 1 hour 36 minutes.

"It is the 38-year-old's first singles title since she won the Australian Open in 2017 and her 73rd WTA title overall," the source noted.
