Barcelona representatives heading to Doha

Barcelona sport director Erik Abidal and the club's CEO Oscar Grau have left for Doha to meet with Al Sadd manager and ex-Barcelona star Xavi Hernandez.

According to RAC1, they will explore the possibility of appointing Xavi as Barcelona manager.

Barcelona management will reportedly gather for a board meeting on Monday to decide the fate of Ernesto Valverde following the defeat in the Spanish Super Cup semifinals.
