FIDE: Armenia’s Aronian is World No. 6

The International Chess Federation (FIDE) has published its monthly world ranking of chess players, Armenian chess leader Levon Aronian is in the 6th place.

The world leader is world champion Magnus Carlsen of Norway.

Armenia’s Gabriel Sargissian (44th) and Hrant Melkumyan (76th) are also among the top 100 chess players of the world.
