Serena Williams named Associated Press’ Female Athlete of the Decade

Tennis star Serena Williams has been named Associated Press’ Female Athlete of the Decade after a vote by AP sports editors and beat writers.

Serena Williams has won 12 Grand Slam tournaments, two silver medals of the Olympic Games, 24 WTA tournaments.
