Ajax fail to score in 3 matches in a row first time in 63 years

Ajax lost to Alkmaar 0-1 and it is for the first time in 63 years that Ajax fail to score in three matches in a row.

In the previous rounds Ajax lost to Valencia 0-1 in the Champions League and to Willem II 0-2 in the Dutch championships.

Ajax top the standings in the Netherlands with 41 points.
