Piqué is named Catalonia Player of the Year

Barcelona central defender Gerard Piqué has been named Catalonia's 2019 Player of the Year, Sport.es reports.

"I will continue to play for Barcelona as long as my physical condition allows me," Piqué said. "It is a great honor for me to receive this award."

The 32-year-old defender has made 13 appearances for Barcelona so far this season, scoring one goal.
