Armenian sambo fighter dies after spending 18 months in coma

Armenian sambo fighter Kolya Karapetyan who suffered a grave injury during at the 2017 European Championships has passed away at the age of 30.

Karapetyan won bronze, but his health deteriorated dramatically after the fight. He died on November 29 after spending 18 months in coma.
