This is Barça’s top footballer Lionel Messi’s 700th match for the Catalan club.
Messi became the second player to reach the threshold of 700 matches in the history of Barcelona. Former Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez is first, with 767 matches.
Messi, 32, is a Barcelona football academy alumnus and the top scorer. He has scored 612 goals and made 248 assists in 699 appearances so far for Barça.
