Maradona dismissed from office of head coach of Gimnasia

Argentine football legend Diego Maradona has been dismissed from the office of head coach of Club de Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata, reports La Nacion.

According to the source, Maradona has been dismissed since President of Gimnasia Gabriel Pelegrino isn’t running in the upcoming presidential elections.

Maradona coached Club de Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata in September. After the 22^nd round of the Argentine championship, Gimnasia is in 22^nd place with 10 points.
