Roberto Mancini sets record of 11 consecutive victories with Italy squad

Roberto Mancini has become the first Italian coach to win 11 consecutive games with the national team after Italy defeated Armenia 9-1 in the EURO 2020 qualifying match.

Italy managed to score 9 goals for the first time since 1948 when they defeated U.S. 9-0.

The previous record was set by Vittorio Pozzo in 1938-39 when Italian team celebrated nine consecutive victories.
