Abidal: I don't think Messi will leave FC Barcelona
21:48 18 November, 2019Technical director of FC Barcelona Eric Abidal has shared his thoughts about the situation concerning the future of the team’s leading Argentine player Lionel Messi.
“I don’t think Messi will leave FC Barcelona. We are currently holding talks with him over the paragraphs of a new contract.
Messi is FC Barcelona’s leading player and has a huge impact on the team. His presence is very important for the team’s members,” Abidal said, reports the football club’s press service.
Lionel Messi’s contract with FC Barcelona will end in June 2021.
