Luka Modric wins 2019 Golden Foot award

Luka Modric was awarded the 2019 Golden Foot, an award given to successful players over the age of 29.

Modric, 34, was shortlisted together with Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos, Wayne Rooney, Sergio Aguero, Gerard Pique, Robert Lewandowski, Thiago Siva and Giorgio Chiellini.

Last year the award was collected by PSG forward Edison Cavani.
