UEFA punished the Bulgarian team during the Bulgaria-England clash of the Euro 2020 qualifying tournament (0-6), due to racist shouts, Metro reported.

Thus, it will hold the next qualifying clash without spectators and the Bulgarian Football Federation was fined EUR 75 thousand. During the next two home clashes, Bulgaria is required to place 'Say No To Racism' banners at the stadium, the UEFA press service said.

After the scandal, the president of the Bulgarian Football Federation, Borislav Mikhailov, resigned.

The Bulgarian squad will hold the next clash on November 17 against Czech team.
