Transsexual basketball player to participate in Olympic Games

26-year-old American basketball player Lindsey Walker, who will participate in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, is the world's tallest transsexual athlete (2.13m).

"I know there are others like me out there, who are very tall, and because of that they're afraid to come out. I want those girls to see me that I'm tall and I'm not afraid to be who I am. I feel like the record would convey that message better than my story alone," she said, Orange.co.uk reports.
