Federer, Khachanov win first matches

Roger Federer beat Peter Gojowczyk in the first round of the Swiss Indoors Basel tennis tournament.

In the 54-minute match, the 38-year-old Swiss defeated his German opponent 6-2, 6-1.

And Karen Khachanov (Russia) beat Hubert Hurkacz (Poland) in the first round of the Vienna Open.

In this match that lasted for 1 hour and 40 minutes, the Muscovite Armenian tennis star defeated his opponent 6-4, 7-6.
