Messi admits now it is more difficult to prepare for matches than when he was 25

Barcelona star Lionel Messi admitted that it is harder for him to get his body fit for the matches than earlier in his career. 

“It is difficult because your mind is fine; you think that you are 25 years old and that you can continue doing the same things [as before] at the time. But the body rules and there are circumstances in which you have to be more careful than before. Adapting to it requires a process and preparing differently for training and matches,” he told Marca.

The 32-year-old player suffered two injuries during the season and was forced to miss almost two months.
