In the 8th round of the qualifying tournament of the European Football Championship, the Spanish national team played away with the Swedish squad.

In the 60th minute of the match, Spain goalkeeper David De Gea was injured and substituted. Data on the severity of the goalkeeper injury has not yet been reported.

Sweden vs Spain clash ended 1-1. The Spanish national team booked a ticket to Euro 2020.
