Beijing: Karen Khachanov reaches quarterfinals

Russian representative Karen Khachanov reached the quarterfinals of the tennis tournament in Beijing. The Armenian tennis star played with the Frenchman Jeremy Chardy and won 7-6 (7-0), 7-6 (7-5) in 1 hour 41 minutes.

To reach the semifinals, Karen Khachanov should face and win the Italian Fabio Fognini, who defeated the Russian Andrey Rublev 6-3, 6-4.

Last year, Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili became the winner of the Beijing tournament.
