Emery choses new Arsenal captain

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has chosen the team's midfielder, Granit Xhaka, to lead the team, BBC reported.

Emery told the squad of his decision on Friday, after consulting with players.

Granit Xhaka has been at Arsenal since 2016.

Arsenal's next game is with Manchester United in the Premier League on Monday.
