Levon Aronian, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave to hold tie-break

In the quarterfinal of the Chess World Cup 2019 in Khanty-Mansiysk, the leader of the Armenian chess Levon Aronian (2758) and Frenchman Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (2774) will hold a tie-break.

The tie-break will take place on September 25.

In the event of reaching the semifinals, Aronian’s opponent will be the winner of the Xiong - Radjabov pair.
