Youri Djorkaeff appointed FIFA Foundation manager

The 1998 world champion and 2000 European champion in the French national team, former midfielder Youri Djorkaeff was appointed head of social programs at the International Football Federation, Lequipe reported.

The foundation, which has been working from 2018, implements social programs related to football around the world and helps with restoring the football infrastructure.

The head office of the organization is located in the Swiss city of Zurich.

Djorkaeff, 51, resigned in 2006.
