WC-2019: Artur Aleksanyan makes it to final

Artur Aleksanyan made it to the final of the World Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship taking place in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. In the semi-final for 97 kg category wrestlers, the Olympic, world and European champion competed with Georgia’s representative Georgy Melia and beat him 3-1. The Armenian wrestler has pains in his hip bones again. He had received an injury during last year’s world championship in Budapest.

In the final, Artur Aleksanyan’s rival will be Russian wrestler Musa Yevloyev, who beat Serbian wrestler Mikhail Kajala 9-0 in the semi-final.

The final will take place on September 16.
