Luke Shaw was also absent suffered a hamstring injury against Crystal Palace last month, Diogo Dalot has a hip injury and Eric Bailly (knee) could be sidelined until December.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said there was a chance Aaron Wan-Bissaka (back) and Jesse Lingard (illness) could be available for the visit of Leicester.

"Well the treatment room's been busy," Solskjaer said. "And it still is. So we don't really know who's going to be available. There's maybe Aaron, maybe Jesse and I think maybe that's it from the ones that pulled out [from national squads], but I can't promise those two will be available either.
