Maradona in tears at Gimnasia presentation

Former Argentina striker and head coach Diego Maradona was introduced on September 9 as head coach of the Argentinean Club de Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata, BBC reported.

Fans of the club warmly greeted the new coach of the team, and Maradona could not hold back his tears.

His deal will expire at the end of the current season.

Club de Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata, founded in 1887, ranked last in the current standings.

Maradona in June this year resigned as head coach of the Mexican Dorados.
