Italy record: 13 years without defeats in European Championship qualifications

The Italian team in the qualifying tournaments of the European Championship has suffered no defeat for 13 years or 36 matches (27 wins, 9 draws), which is a record, Opta Sport reported.

In the 6th round of the Euro 2020 qualifying tournament, Italy defeated Finland 2-1.

The last time the Italian team lost on September 6, 2006, in a clash against France (1-3).

The Italian team led by Roberto Mancini in group J had six victories and with 18 points leads the standings.

Italians will face the Greeks on October 12.
