US Open: Nadal on how he beat Čilić
13:11 3 September, 2019World’s second racket Rafael Nadal has talked about what helped him beat Croatian tennis player Marin Čilić (22) in the fourth round of The US Open with 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 and 6-2. Nadal performed 11 aces.
“I improved my serve especially over the last couple of years and this year a bit more. Happy with the way I am serving, especially the second serve. I increased the speed, which helps. I always knew I needed to improve my serve to try to have a longer career and that’s something we have been working hard on,” Nadal said, Tennis World USA cites.
In the quarter final of The US Open, Nadal will compete with Diego Schwartzman (20), who beat Germany’s Alexander Zverev (6) and left him out of the competition.
