Europa League: FC Ararat-Armenia beating Dudelange

Luxembourg’s champion Dudelange is hosting Armenia’s football champion, Yerevan’s FC Ararat-Armenia during the return match of the final qualifying round of the Europa League.

After the first half, Vardan Minasyan’s team is beating Dudelange 1-0.

At the 21st minute, the Armenian team obtained the right to an 11-meter kick, but the goalkeeper saved the ball after Kobyalko’s kick. At the 24th minute, Dutch forward Mailson Lima pushed Armenia’s champions forward.

President of the Football Federation of Armenia Artur Vanetsyan and owner of FC Ararat-Armenia Samvel Karapetyan are also at Josy Barthel Stadium in Luxembourg.

Armenia’s football team has made it to the play-off of the Europa League for the first time in the history of Armenian football. In the previous two qualifying rounds of the Europa League, FC Ararat-Armenia beat Gibraltar’s champion Lincoln (2-0, 2-1) and Georgia’s champion Saburtalo (1-2, 2-0). Vardan Minasyan’s team didn’t beat Sweden’s champion AIK (2-1, 1-3) in the first qualifying round of the Champions League.
