EL: Joint screening of FC Ararat-Armenia's historic match at New Yerevan Park and Swan Lake
21:54 29 August, 2019Armenia’s football champion, Yerevan’s FC Ararat-Armenia is hosted by Luxembourg’s champion and cup winner Dudelange for the return match of the final qualifying round of the Europa League.
FC Ararat-Armenia has organized a joint screening for fans at New Yerevan Park (Saryan-Mashtots intersection) and Swan Lake in Yerevan.
The match will begin at 10 p.m. Yerevan time.
During the first match, Vardan Minasyan’s team won Dudelange 2-1 inYerevan.
FC Ararat-Armenia’s general sponsor is Tashir Group.
Armenia’s football team has made it to the play-off of the Europa League for the first time in the history of Armenian football. In the previous two qualifying rounds of the Europa League, FC Ararat-Armenia won Gibraltar’s champion Lincoln (2-0, 2-1) and Georgia’s champion Saburtalo (1-2, 2-0). Vardan Minasyan’s team didn’t win Sweden’s champion AIK (2-1, 1-3) in the first qualifying round of the Champions League.
