My main task is to return FC Nantes to Ligue 1 – Michel Der Zakarian
10:36 28 August, 2012We shall not stop at what we have achieved under any circumstance, Armenian national football team’s former player Michel Der Zakarian, who now manages French Ligue 2 team FC Nantes, stated.
“I’m very happy that we defeated Le Mans [by a score of 2-0], but we shall not be satisfied with what we have achieved under any circumstance. Five rounds have passed since the start of the competition, and it’s too early to speak about future plans. It’s clear that our main task is to return to Ligue 1,” France Football quotes Michel Der Zakarian as saying.
FC Nantes is in second place after five rounds in Ligue 2.
NEWS.am Sport informed earlier, before FC Nantes, Michel Der Zakarian used to manage FC Clermont of Ligue 2.
During his years on the pitch, Der Zakarian played for Nantes between 1980 and 1988. Also, he managed the team of Nantes city from 2007 to 2008.
And Michel Der Zakarian played for Armenia’s national squad in 1996-1997.
