St. Louis Rapid & Blitz: Armenia’s Aronian finishes first in rapid chess

Armenia’s Grandmaster (GM) Levon Aronian finished first the rapid chess competition at the 2019 St. Louis Rapid & Blitz tournament of the Grand Chess Tour (GCT).

Aronian, who plays first board for the three-time World Chess Olympiad champions and former World Team Chess champions Armenia, has garnered 13 points. GM Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France) also has the same amount of points.

The blitz chess competition will be held from Tuesday to Thursday.
