Canadian Open: Karen Khachanov makes it to semifinals

Russia’s No. 1-ranked tennis player, Karen Khachanov, has advanced to the semifinals of the Canadian Open being held in Montreal.

In Friday’s quarterfinals of this tournament, the Muscovite Armenian, who is ranked 8th in the world, defeated Alexander Zverev (Germany) in two sets.

In Saturday’s semifinals, Khachanov will play against countryman Daniil Medvedev to advance to the final.
