Puyol to assume new position at Barça

Spain and Barcelona legend Carles Puyol will assume the position of general manager of Barça in September.

Puyol will be in charge with the transfer policy of the club, El Mundo Deportivo reported.

The defender was playing for Barcelona from 1999 to 2014.
