Europa League: FC Pyunik loses to Wolverhampton Wanderers FC 0-4

During the first match of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, Armenia’s vice-champion, Russian head coach Aleksandr Tarkhanov’s FC Pyunik is competed with Wolverhampton Wanderers FC (the team won 7th place in the past English championship) at Republican Stadium after Vazgen Sargsyan.

Portuguese coach Nunu Eshpiritu Santu’s team won 4-0.

At the 29th minute, Irish defender Matt Doherty scored the first goal after receiving a pass from Portuguese forward Diogo Jota.

At the 42nd minute, Mexican forward Raúl Jiménez scored another goal after receiving a pass from Jota. In the second half, Jiménez scored a double. At the added 2nd minute, there was a sharp 11-meter kick by Portuguese midfielder Rúben Neves. Serhiy Shevchuk made a violation.

The return match will be held in England on August 15.
