Words can’t describe the mood at Republican Stadium in Stepanakert, Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic). All seats are occupied, the entrances are blocked, and several fans weren’t even able to sit in their seats with their invitation tickets. Before the opening ceremony of the Pan-Armenian Summer Games, the athletes of the delegations of various cities were dancing with the representatives of Armenia’s delegations. Representative of the team from Paris Vanig Hagopian was dancing with the team from Armenia’s Talin region in the center of the stadium before the opening.

“I am happy to be here. Everything is wonderful. It’s nice to see that this event has gathered all Armenians of the world. I’m here as a member of a delegation, not an athlete, but I’m very happy that I had the opportunity to attend the Games. I’m eating a lot of Armenian barbecue and have made many new friends,” Vanig Hagopian said.
