Messi suspended for 3 months

The South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) has banned Lionel Messi for three months for his “corruption” comments at the 2019 Copa América, AS reported.

As a result, Messi will be ruled out of Argentina’s matches until November 2.

In addition, the 32-year-old football star has been fined $50,000.

During Argentina’s Copa América semifinal clash against Brazil, Messi had accused the referees of corruption.
