Sarri on young pitch invader: When it is a kid it is not a pitch invasion, it is a moment of joy
10:46 22 July, 2019Juventus head coach Maurizio Sarri commented on the moment at Singapore's National Stadium, after the child had run across the pitch to meet Cristiano Ronaldo during Sunday's friendly with Tottenham Hotspur, The Sun reported.
"I thought security was going to come for him. When it is a kid it is not a pitch invasion, it is a moment of joy,” Sarri said
Tottenham defeated Juventus 3-2. Ronaldo scored a goal.
Juventus is scheduled to play against Inter Milan on July 24.
