Virgil van Dijk refuses to hold talks with FC Barcelona

Spain’s champion FC Barcelona has tried to make an offer to Dutch defender for Liverpool Virgil van Dijk, but the 28-year-old footballer isn’t planning on leaving Klopp’s team and has refused to start talks with the Catalonian football club, as reported Mirror.

Van Dijk transferred from Southampton FC to Liverpool for 84,065,000 EUR in January 2018, becoming the most expensive defender in the history of football.

This year, van Dijk is considered one of the three contenders for the Gold Cup.
