Los Angeles Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs dies at 27

Los Angeles Angels baseball pitcher Tyler Skaggs has passed away at the age of 27, reports MLB. The reason for his death remains unclear. “It is with great sorrow that we report Tyler Skaggs passed away earlier today in Texas. Tyler has, and always will be, an important part of the Angels Family,” the Angels’ statement read.

In 2012, Tyler Skaggs played in the All-Stars game.

The Angels’ scheduled game against the Rangers at Globe Life Park has been postponed as a result of his death.
