Minsk-2019: Aslanyan, Chalyan make it to semi-final
15:01 28 June, 2019Two wrestlers of Armenia made it to the semi-final at the Greco-Roman wrestling tournament of the European Games in Minsk.
Karen Aslanyan (67 kg category) won Norwegian wrestler Haavard Jorgensen 6-1 in the quarter final and will be competing with Georgian wrestler Shmagi Bolkvadze to score a pass to the final.
In the 1/8 final, Karen Aslanyan won Bulgarian wrestler Svilen Kostadinov 4-0.
Karapet Chalyan (77 kg category) won his Moldovan opponent Igor Beshleaga 2-1 in the quarter final and will be competing with Hungarian wrestler Tamas Lorinc.
In the 1/8 final, Karapet Chalyan won Ukrainian wrestler Elmar Nuraliyev 9-0.
