As a result of the online voting held by Ukraine’s Ua-Football website, the goal scored by FC Hoverla of Uzhhorod city’s player—and Armenian national team’s former defender—Yeghishe Melikyan was voted as the best goal of the current Ukrainian league season’s fifth-round games.

In the fifth round, FC Hoverla played an away game against FC Dnipro of Dnipropetrovsk city, where it was defeated by a score of 4-1. The guests’ only goal came in the 54th minute, and by way of Melikyan.

To note, Armenian national squad’s defensive midfielder Artur Yedigaryan signed a deal recently with FC Hoverla, and he could play in the club’s sixth-round match against FC Illichivets of Mariupol city.
