Marco Giampaolo becomes Sampdoria's head coach

Former head coach of Sampdoria Marco Giampaolo has signed a two-year contract with Milan, replacing Genaro Gatuso. Giampaolo will start his job as the Italian football club’s head coach on July 1.

Throughout his coaching career, Marco Giampaolo, 51, has also been the head coach of Empoli, Cremonese, Brescia, Cesena, Catagna, Siena and Cagliari.
