Rio Ferdinand receives offer from Manchester United
23:44 17 June, 2019Former center back for Manchester United and the English national football team Rio Ferdinand has received an offer from Manchester United to become the football club’s sporting director.
“I have spoken to Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward about the sporting director position, but I am one of the candidates. It is up to the administration of Manchester United to decide. I have excellent relations with Woodward. It is nice to be on the list,” Ferdinand said, cites Goal.com.
Ferdinand, 40, played for Manchester United between 2002 and 2014.
